Drama Video SOP
10-Step Family Drama Video Workflow (2025)
From channel analysis → upload. Keep emotions high and ethics tight.
1
Analyze Reference Channels
- Open competitor’s channel → Popular videos.
- Identify top-viewed videos → find the common theme.
- Example: many hits center on children & mothers (birth mother, mother-in-law, adoptive mother, son/daughter-in-law…).
- Conclusion: Choose Family Drama as the core theme: Child(ren) ↔ Mother dynamics.
2
Thumbnail Pattern Analysis
- Background: dark / low-tone.
- Layout:
- Left one-third: main character image (often stylized).
- Right two-thirds: bold text in yellow – white – red.
- The character in the thumbnail must match the story content.
3
Build a Content Outline
- Download competitor subtitles (e.g., downsub.com).
- Summarize → draft a new outline by changing:
Character names
Setting
Story details
Emotional progression
Goal: Create a fresh version while preserving theme and emotional intensity.
4
Write the Script
- Expand each outline point into ~1,000 words.
- First 30 seconds: jump straight into the drama—avoid long introductions.
- Highlight emotions: anger unfairness pain injustice.
- Focus on indignation, empathy, and sympathy for the oppressed.
- Audience target: mainly middle-aged and older women.
5
Voiceover & Translation
- Finalize script → translate to English if targeting international audiences.
- Generate narration via AI tools: ElevenLabs, Genly, or similar.
- Use only permitted voices — do not impersonate without consent.
Ethics: Respect voice rights and local laws on synthetic media.
6
Create Visuals
- Design images consistent with reference thumbnails:
- Dark background
- Character on the left 1/3
- Bold text on the right 2/3 (yellow/white/red)
- Tools: piclumen.com, Canva, etc.
7
Video Editing
- Recommended editor: CapCut.
- Structure:
- Single narration audio.
- One image throughout the video.
- Subtle effects (e.g., snow, light glow).
- Auto subtitles with white background + black text for clarity.
8
Optimize the Thumbnail
- Do not put the full title in the image.
- Use curiosity-driven teasers, e.g.:
“The 5th most dangerous food”
“Daughter left outside while the groom’s family celebrated inside…”
9
Export Video
- Export in 1080p (4K unnecessary).
- Verify:
- Story matches image
- Voice matches script
- Subtitles clean and accurate
10
Upload to YouTube
- Title: include main keyword.
- Description: add extended/related keywords.
- Hashtags:
#drama
#family
#motherinlaw
#psychology
#familystories
#drama
#child
#stepmother
#mood
#family

Critical Reminders
- Follow every step carefully — no skipping.
- If unclear, learn again, ask again, never guess.
Tip: keep a master template; only swap names, settings, and triggers each video.
